March 25 – April 10 (Three witty weekends!)

Southern-bred comedy
by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten
Produced by Maureen Edick
Directed by Al Edick

A heart-warming, hilarious peek into the lives of six mature women who embrace the idea that it
is never too late to be the people they were meant to be. Sugar Lee Thompkins, a woman ready
to put her doomed marriage behind her and start fresh, buys an old church and turns it into Spa-
Dee-Dah!, a day spa for the women of Eden Falls, Georgia. After the loss of a dear friend, the
ladies realize if they're ever going to achieve their dreams, they have to get on it now—and do
they ever! They rally together to overcome unexpected twists and turns to launch their new,
improved lives.

Jones, Hope, and Wooten—all from the Asheville area—are three of the most widely produced
comedic playwrights in America, having collaborated to master the Southern comedy.  They’ve
written eight plays that have been produced over 1,100 times for more than 10,000
performances nationwide.

“It’s good fun…clever…lots of zany content…much silliness and some pathos and injustice to
keep the wheels rolling.”
--Dallas-Fort Worth Pegasus News

“What's it about?  Laughing mostly, but there's enough mystery and drama thrown in to keep
everyone happy...This play has a similar feel to [Steel Magnolias], but yet is completely
different…its description as a “rollicking Southern comedy” seems pretty accurate.”
--Dayton
Examiner

“A delightful barrage of witty one-liners…The audience never stopped laughing.”Connecticut
